Rachel McAdams to star in film adaptation of Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret

Blume's book was published in 1970 and tells the tale of a young girl who is searching for answers while going through puberty. Her other books include Tales Of A Fourth Course Nothing and Blubber.

She had rejected previous suggestions to plough Information technology's Me, Margaret into a film but agreed when she received a persuasive call from Fremon Craig terminal year.
